MILAD-UN-NABI CELEBRATIONS

Nasr School celebrated their annual Inter House Naath competition on the 30th of November with great zeal and enthusiasm. A Naath is a song sung in praise of the Last Prophet, Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). The competition began with the recitation of the holy Quran.

The girls from the high school recited the Hamdh which is a song sung in praise of Allah. The values and virtues preached by the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) were spoken about by one of the girls.

The five houses presented melodious Naaths which was appreciated by the audience. While the results were being tabulated the chief guest and judge for the day Mrs. Noor Amenah spoke about our Indian culture, how we respect our elders and the change in the mindset of the younger generation. She congratulated all the participants and appreciated the hard work put in by the students and the teachers.

The Sapphire house came in first, the Emerald house second and the Amethyst house third.

The competition came to a close with the reciting of the Salaam.
