This year the play chosen by the Nasr Dramatic Society was the adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel, The Mousetrap. It was a well planned crime that was unveiled in the newly opened guest house opened by a couple called Mollie and Giles Ralston. Mollie was a lively young lady, who had married the loving Giles who lived by every word Mollie spoke. The guest who were staying the night in the guest house were the condescending Mrs. Boyle, the eccentric young man Christopher Wren, know-it-all Mr. Paravacini and soft spoken Mrs. Casewell. The protagonist of the play was Detective Sergeant Trotter.

The play was enacted well; it had the audience gripping to their chairs in anticipation. Our girls, like always, had put up their best on the stage, and had embodied the characters spectacularly. They had the audience's attention from the beginning to the end.
