Following a performance by the school choir, the event kick-started with a speech by the principal, Mr. Mir Mohiuddin Mohammed, after which Anees Ma'am was serenaded with the birthday song and gifted with a portrait of the smiling students. The students of XC performed an inspirational song, “This Is Me”, which speaks about embracing your flaws.

After their foot-tapping performance, Mrs, Vidya Kulkarni, a student and a teacher now at Nasr, talked about her journey at Nasr thus far.

Bringing in a thespian note, the students of classes 6-9 performed the musical mime, “Pandora's Box” based on the popular story from Greek mythology.

Later, the captains and prefects danced to catchy songs belonging to various eras, based on a timeline. After swaying along to songs such as “Dancing Queen” and “Thriller”, they sang the song, “Flashlight”, intended to honour Anees Ma'am for being a guiding light throughout their lives. It was a heartfelt rendition, which expressed its message clearly. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Yusra Saquib of XII A.
